Straight No Chaser

Reason #248 why I love pandora...it introduced me to these guys. They have a ton of good Christmas songs, but Christmas Can Can and 12 Days of Christmas are the most entertaining and funny

Amazon's Universal Wish List

Jeremy showed me the coolest thing tonight. When I didn't think Amazon could get any better, it has. They have a wish list that you can add anything from any website. I don't know about you, but when someone asks me what I want for Christmas or my birthday I can NEVER think of anything. So, I end up just telling them things I don't really want.

Well, with this I can add stuff when I find it, and anyone can look it up at anytime...pure genius. They even have a button you can put on your toolbar. If you see something you want on a website, you just click the wish list button and the item page automatically added. See below:

Awesome, yes?

Merry Christmas to you!!!

Christmas Kick-Off

This weekend Jeremy and I kicked-off the Christmas season with the people we love most. Friday night we went with Jeremy's family to:

It was fun to spend time together and that show is always good, reminding us what this season really is about. Unfortunately I was at the beginnings of the worst cold of my life and was totally out of it, meaning no pictures.

This also meant no Festival of Trees...hopefully next year

So, for the rest of the weekend I basically got out of bed 6 times, but that didn't stop us from watching the First Presidency's Christmas Devotional, which is something we look forward to every year.

{source}

To complete the kick-off we went with my family to eat at the Cheesecake Factory, this isn't very Christmas-ie, but we sure enjoyed it. Oh and us kids at the end got a tiny bit bored at the end of dinner : )

and of course we had to include the shaky face picture.

Now to the Christmas-ie part. We went to the Desert Star for their Christmas play. It was really funny. There was a sing-a-long at the end too, which my brother's loathed and I loved.

All in all, very fun weekend, except for the sick part. Now on to hours of homework and tests for finals...then FREEDOM!!!

P.S. please tell me you watched GLEE tonight. bomb.com, seriously.

and then there was one...

Just in case there are one or two of you still out there...I'm getting rid of my other blog.
Why?
1. because this blog is more fun.
2. I'm easily motivated, but not an easy motivator
3. I'm assuming most of my readers, if not all, are women-folk anyway so if anything ground breaking happens, I'll just post it on here like I usually do anyway.

Just a little p.s. I was down and out this weekend with some kind of nasty cold that lasted WAY too long. During this time my husband took excellent care of me, and even went the extra mile and picked this up for me on one of the many errands he so kindly ran for me, with no complaints.

Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm---it saved my lips this weekend and smelled like yummy pomegranate to boot. Aren't husbands the greatest?

Happy Monday!

Dear Santa,

I've been doing a lot of thinking about what I want for Christmas, and I've finally figured it out. I would like a Snuggie.

Yes, you heard me right, a Snuggie. I know it's a very embarrassing object that's the butt of many jokes, but I feel that I could greatly benefit from it. You see, dear Santa, my shoulders get terribly cold, and so do my toes.

I promise if you get me one I will never wear it out in public and make a spectacle of myself.

I also promise never force my dog...

...or my future baby to sport the Snuggie

And lastly I promise not to get too involved in the snugg life. I know it can be dangerous.

So, Santa baby, that is my wish this year. I'll clear off a space on the couch and leave the cooking and milk like always.
