Spaces.

You know that space in between the driver's seat and the middle console?

Why is it there? It's big enough to drop things like lip gloss and credit cards, but not big enough to fit your hand down there.  And it's not like it's easy to get under the seat to that little space, unless you want a hand cramp. So, why don't they just connect the seat to the console? So as of now I am missing my AMEX, and who knows when I'll get that sucker back.

Please let me know if you have ever benefitted from that tiny space between your driver's seat and console and I will retract my statement.
